My daughter bought some blank DVD Lightscribe Office Max today) (sale and will not work on your computer. DVD freeze further. Suggestions?

Maybe try a different kind of DVD on the same computer, and then try the same DVD on another computer to see if the DVD itself is guilty. If so, be eliminated.
